As the photos show this mask is not worn like a second-skin (the way most other masks and hoods are), so whilst the eye holes are of ample size it would be wrong to assume the wearer's vision will be unimpeded. The shape of the mask means the eye holes are some distance from the wearer's eyes, resulting in their perspective being a little off-kilter.
The eye holes also allow plenty of air to enable easy breathing for the wearer, handy as there are no nose or mouth holes, just a long beak that we're sure will make you the talk of the room (except from those wearing ball gags).
