The store is located on Church Lane, which runs parallel to St Johns Ring Road (dual carriageway)
Directions by Car: From the top of Snow Hill, turn off left as if heading towards St Johns Retail Park. Do not turn into the car park, continue down Church Lane for approximately 300 yards. The store is the last building on the left.
Directions by Foot: Head towards St Johns Ring Road from the city centre, down Worcester Street, cross over the dual carriageway by Penn Road Island and follow the footpath around the car park and onto Church Lane.

I live in Wolves, but work in Birmingham, I was on the way back from work and I was stuck in traffic on St John’s Ring road, and was getting a little bored and hadn’t moved for a while, I noticed Pulse and Cocktails through the trees and I knew it had, had a revamp by the looks of things. It looked very nice, so I went in. The shop from the outside looks quite big, but on the inside it looks massive. The shop is an open plan design; there are lots of things that are on display in the shop, from the clothing to the bondage crosses and a whole range in between.
When you walk in the door the Lee the manager is very friendly, and very willing to help you with anything that you could possibly need. I was very happy with what I bought too, I have increased my collection of DVDs with some more risqué titles for my collection. It is a private section in the store, and there is an offer on where if you buy DVDs you get magazines with the DVDs. Great value for money overall, and I am very happy with the service I received. I will definitely be coming back here again soon. |

My collection of Adult films was quite large before I found this Pulse and Cocktails, but since, this has expanded rapidly. I would like to think that I have around about 250 film titles, which doesn’t sound so many, but that is quite a lot when it comes to adult films, but I am always wanting more.
When I found the Pulse and Cocktails, I was quite pleased that there was discrete parking behind the store because the road running nearby is quite busy and I don’t want people who know me to see me going inside. Although it is unlike any other Adult store, I still don’t like to think people would see me go in, being an older single gentleman that can look bad on me.
When I walk in I am always greeted with a friendly hello, and I am asked how my day is and made to feel very welcome in the store. The DVD section is very private which is very nice in such an open planned store. There are several deals on the DVDs and if you buy more than 3 you are given a loyalty card, which is an incentive to come back for more. They also do a scheme where you can exchange the dvds for new titles once you have watched them, I personally don’t do this, because I like to save them to watch again, but it is very good value for money.
I think this is an amazing store, and the lay out and feel inside is like going in a normal shop, obviously there are things you cannot buy in normal shops, but it definitely feels that way. I will come back again, and you should go in there too!! |
