Our vicar lane shop is a very classy boutique style shop designed on two floors with a private DVD section downstairs, the floors are a black glossy tiles, we always aim to create a relaxed shopping experience, with very helpful and approachable staff at all times, we try to create a truly unique shopping experience, there is something for everyone in a Pulse and Cocktails, and we are always ready to help.

I have been in Leeds for a while now, I am a second year student at Leeds Met and would like to think I know the ins and outs of the area very well, when I was walking around town recently, I found Pulse and Cocktails, I cannot believe that I never realised this was here, before I stumbled upon it. I know of Pulse and Cocktails from seeing it online, and buying online with my girlfriend previously, but I have never been into a shop.
When I went in I expected it to be like a stereotypical adult store full of old perv’s, but when I actually got inside it was very surprising it was like I had stepped into some fancy boutique shop rather than an adult sex shop. As a student, and a Rugby player, there are lots of chances to dress up in fancy dress costumes and I always like to have very outlandish and sometimes racy costumes, so this is perfect, they have a great selection of costumes that are brilliant, I bought myself a few of these, and also lube, which was on offer buy 2 get 1 free, and also bought some condoms to go with it (thats me set for the semester) thank you student loan!!
The staff were very nice and friendly and all the offers are clearly signed around the shop which makes my life much easier. I will most definitely come back again, I am very impressed with the shop and its lay-out. I’m glad that I actually found it before I graduated!!!

Me and my boyfriend went on a dirty weekend away in Leeds a few weeks ago, we were really looking forward to it. When we started to unpack at the hotel we realised we had forgotten one of the most important things - the lube, we were gutted. However that night we went out to find something to eat and as we were walking round the centre we came across Pulse and Cocktails, it was closed at the time as it was about 8pm but we knew we were going to come back in the morning just for some lube.
We walked down mid-afternoon and I was surprised at how nice the store was inside, the black gloss tiled floors and mirrored wallboards made it feel like a little boutique shop rather than a sex shop! There was a man working at the time who was very nice and smiley. We walked around the store for a minute and asked the guy were the lubes were, he showed us and we were delighted to see they were on offer, we got three in the end which was more than enough! Something else caught our eye as we were in there which was a starter anal bead set, we have never tried them before and they were reasonably priced so we bought them.
It is safe to say we had a great weekend in the end and if it wasn’t for Pulse and Cocktails it wouldn’t have been half as good!

This shop is not at all seedy like most people would expect, its well lit and very friendly its not like any other sex shops I have been in. Yea theres hardcore porn and some extreme toys but its set out in a way that makes you feel relaxed and at ease and the people who work there make the store really, they make you feel comfortable and just like your shopping in a regular department store.
If people are feeling a bit shy the car parks round the back so people cant see you going in.
I would recommend you just bite the bullet, go in and see for yourself how different it is.
