Directions
This store is on the A1 motorway, southbound, 4 miles south of the Grantham /Melton Mowbray turnoff, close to the village of Stoke Rochford. It is opposite the 'Meeting Venue' and and 'BP Station'. If you are heading South and miss the turn in to the store, there is a turnoff 200 yards further along in the central reservation, signposted Stoke Rochford, enabling a U turn to be made. Heading North, we are 200 yards past the Stoke Rochford turn off, drive past the store and U turn in the central reservation.
The Store
Formerly a McDonalds restaurant, this fantastic store near Grantham is bright and spacious and offers a fun and relaxed shopping environment. It has a large, discrete car park and it's motorway location makes it very convenient to visit during your travels.

I frequently travel on the A1, as a long-distance lorry driver this is one of the main stretches of road I use, when I passed on the last journey I saw the sign for Pulse and Cocktails and pulled in, I was very surprised to see that there was parking capability for HGVs and there was adequate space to turn the lorry round and it was easy to get the lorry in and out. When I went into the store, the staff were very friendly and the shop was very light, and well set out unlike some of the adult stores I have been in.
I bought some DVDs from the shop. The DVD section is very large and quite private considering the open plan nature of the shop. I was told about the exchange scheme, which I think is great value for money, and will definitely be using this in the future; I also bought myself a female masturbator which is as good to the real thing that I can get whilst in the lorry on the long journey. I was very impressed with my purchases, and I am glad that I stopped; this has to be my favourite lorry journey so far.
A point on the location, this is in a brilliant place this store, located near a very busy road, but still you can see it well enough from the road courtesy of the big sign, yet being located near the A1 it is still private enough as not many people will pay much attention to the cars parked there. Very nice store, very friendly staff, I’ve made this part of my journey now as standard.

My wife and I have a very large collection of sex toys, they are in all shapes and sizes, and we are no stranger to these adult stores. We were recently going for a weekend away and we saw the sign for the A1 Pulse and Cocktails, we stopped to take a look and see what else we could get to take away with us. When we pulled into the car park, this was quite large with the capability of parking lorries, and plenty of cars. The shop inside, like all pulse and cocktails stores we have been in is very light and well set out and staffed by very friendly and helpful staff.
We looked around the shop for a while to see what sort of toy we wanted, and we spoke to Michaela and said that we have tried most things and are looking for something new, she asked us if we had tried the Electra-Stim stuff before, unsure as to what this did she offered us a demonstration, she was very helpful, and the demonstration was very eye opening to a whole new type of sensation. Having tried all different types of sex toy, we thought we had felt all toys had to offer, but with this, it was an entirely new feeling. I was very apprehensive because I thought this would feel like a shocking sensation, but this was infact the most intense feeling I have ever had. We bought the advanced kit, it set us back quite a bit, but the price is worth the sensation.
The is light and open planned, everything is clearly signed, and the staff are ever so friendly, I am incredibly satisfied with the service I received once again, and this confirms once more why we shop at Pulse and Cocktails.

As a business woman, I regularly end up staying away in hotels, and I am often away on business far away, and at times for weeks at a time, so it is difficult at times to keep myself satisfied. I was recently driving down the A1 when I passed the Pulse and Cocktails, pass this quite often, but never thought to stop in to check it out. This particular occasion I decided what the hell and pulled in. When I first pulled up in the car park, I panicked a little about going into the shop because I have never been into a sex shop, it is always my partner that buys all the toys, or I shop online, I eventually persuaded myself to go inside, and my view was immediately changed.
Walking through the doors it was a very bright and open shop, the member of staff behind the counter immediately said hello, and asked if I was ok, she was very friendly and helpful the entire time I was in the shop. In the store there was a whole range of things, and you could try them out, to see what you liked, and the staff are always willing to help out in any way they can. I tried out several different things, and I was show what the best thing for doing what I wanted was and the lady was very helpful.
As far as stocking goes, there was a great deal of variety, and some toys that I never knew existed, and some stuff which was fascinating just to look at but then at the same time slightly disturbing for me personally that people like that sort of thing (more towards the extreme bondage style stuff – not my cup of tea personally). I did make a purchase whilst I was here, and this is something that will get plenty of use on my travels, but as for what it was, that is for me to know.....
I would recommend dropping in if you live locally or are just passing by, it is a great shop in a great location with fantastic staff, and it just feels like any regular department store – albeit a little more naughty!!
