I have been in a couple of the Pulse and Cocktails stores now, and every time I go into one, the level of service, and the attitude of the staff is always very consistent which i think is great! The shop itself is located on an industrial estate, which is great for those who don’t want to be seen by anyone going in etc. The Shop inside is split into two section firstly ‘cocktails’ which stocks all the clothing novelties and a selection of toys, then in the other side ‘Pulse’ is where all the fetish toys, DVDs and the remainder of the sex toys are, this side is an Aladdin’s cave of sexual toys, and sensuous products.
The staff are very friendly, I have been in here quite a lot and I have met all of the staff, they are all very knowledgeable, and attentive and always willing to go that extra mile to help. The shop is very well laid out, and very well lit. I would recommend anyone looking for an adult shop to use Pulse and Cocktails.

A group of friends and I were looking for some things to surprise our partners with, a friend of ours from work suggested to go into pulse and cocktails. I have never been in before, but some of the others had been with their partners. When we found the place, we noticed how discrete the location was, on an industrial estate, which makes it much easier to walk straight in because you don’t have to worry about who is watching, or if anyone will notice, so that puts you at ease from the start.
When we were inside, we were greeted by a very friendly woman named Amanda, she was very helpful when we were looking round, and was on hand to answer any questions, or show us how anything worked. We looked at all the lingerie and I bought two sets which were on offer for 2 for £29.95, I thought that was very reasonable saying how nice it was. My friends and I looked around here for a bit, and then decided to venture into the other side of the shop.
We walked into the Pulse side of the shop and OMG I have never seen so many vibrators, anal plugs, bottles of lube or weird looking fetish masks, and other bondage toys in my life! It was very enlightening to see what stuff they had on offer; I have used sex toys before, but always bough online. My friends and I couldn’t help but giggle at some of the more extreme stuff, and think to ourselves why would anyone wear that. I ended up buying myself a little friend from here, which I cannot wait to use! Even though I did act a little immature around certain toys, I was surprised at how professional the staff, were with all of this, and how well they could deal with the barrage of questions from some of my more excitable friends. It was a brilliant experience over all and I cannot wait to come back again.
I think this was a very well laid out shop, it was a very chilled out atmosphere in the shop and I will definitely come back with my partner to get a few more things again in the future!
